Canard Decanter A picture is worth a thousand words

Ravenscroft™ Sommelier Decanters are produced from ancient mineral deposits free of impurities, so that brilliant crystal can be produced without the addition of lead. This is particularly important following the recent discovery that long-term storage in leaded decanters can allow lead to leach into the contents.
